Sumter Street Station Apartments

EATONTON, GA - Studio 8 provided comprehensive architectural, engineering and construction administration for this project. Designed to provide affordable housing to the Eatonton area, this 61,924 SF project is a new development within the city's designated development area and enterprise zone. With 62-units, the complex is designed to reflect a more urban architectural language. 

The three residential buildings provide one, two, and three-bedroom options for tenants. Building structures are wood frame with fiber cement siding, and brick exterior. Exterior windows are accented with fabric awnings. Roofing is TPO. The interior is gypsum wall board, carpet, wood, and tile. Split system HVAC serves the buildings. Amenities include a community building with arts and crafts area, kitchen, library, computer center, laundry, and leasing area. 

The project was designed to meet all ADA and life safety requirements and is designed to be energy efficient meeting EarthCraft requirements for new construction.
