Colquitt County Jail Expansion and Renovations

MOULTRIE, GA - Located in Moultrie, Georgia, this project includes a new 252 bed inmate housing pod on the campus of the existing Colquitt County Jail. The project also includes renovations which will provide a new Booking Area and Vehicle Sallyport. The County embarked on the project to expand inmate housing due to overcrowding and outdated housing units. The new housing pod will be located adjacent to existing housing and service operations on the jail campus. Long term plans call for the demolition of existing inmate housing with plans to replace old housing units with new units as needed.
