HAZLEHURST, GA - Studio 8 provided design and construction administration for this new 18,500 SF Sheriff’s Office and 15,000 SF Jail. The new facility houses 96 inmates in the main Housing Unit and 10 inmates in the main Support Building. The facility has Booking/Intake, Medical/Exam, a Kitchen, Laundry, and Video Visitation. The building also includes the Sheriff’s Administrative Offices and a 911 Center. The project is slated to be finished in late 2021.
