Georgia Southwestern State University ACE/Skills Center

AMERICUS, GA - This project provides comprehensive renovation to the Academic Center for Excellence (ACE) Building at Georgia Southwestern State University (GSW). The ACE Building houses many of GSW’s academic support services including advising, tutoring, supplemental instruction, and English instruction for international students as well as a media center. The project includes renovation and re-purposing of interior spaces, replacement or refurbishment of all building systems and controls, and upgrades to meet current building codes including. This project will help GSW retain and improve the performance of non-traditional students, international students, veterans, as well as provide extended services to disadvantaged students. The ACE Building’s area is 22,757 square feet. The mid-century building was built in 1962.
